Private Home Cleaning is not a franchise. We’re not part of a chain. There’s no corporate office in another state deciding how your home should be cleaned. We are Genoveva and Raul DeBarros, and we’ve owned and operated this business in Sarasota since 2003. Over 23 years, one city, one focus: cleaning homes for people who care about how it’s done.
When we started, it was just the two of us and a handful of clients in the Sarasota area. Today, we lead a team of dedicated cleaning professionals who serve homes across Sarasota, Longboat Key, Bird Key, Lakewood Ranch, Siesta Key, and the surrounding communities. The company grew, but the way we run it hasn’t changed.

The People Behind the Business
Genoveva and Raul don’t just own Private Home Cleaning. They run it. Genoveva manages client relationships, quality standards, and the day-to-day operations. Raul handles logistics, team coordination, and the systems that keep everything running on time. They know every client by name, every team member personally, and every home on the schedule.
That level of involvement is unusual for a cleaning company that’s been around for over two decades. Most businesses this age either sell to a franchise or hire management and step away. Genoveva and Raul chose to stay hands-on because the quality depends on it. When you call Private Home Cleaning, you’re not talking to a call center. You’re talking to the people who built the company.
Why They Started
In 2003, Genoveva and Raul saw a gap in the Sarasota market. Plenty of cleaning companies offered basic services at low prices. A few franchises offered consistency but no personalization. Nobody was doing what higher-end homeowners actually wanted: a reliable, discreet, personalized service where the same trusted people showed up every time. So they built one.
