Then, pick only ONE direction and move in that direction and all the way around your kitchen until finished.

Go ahead and clean each section of your sink completely, and continue moving in the direction that you selected going all the way around your kitchen until you are back to the sink again.

You will find yourself motivated to get it all done and the clean areas will remain clean.
